His Story

Mathew Toss lives in New England and finds meaning in small, steady things. He often remembers his dreams after waking, lets music carry him through the day, and believes there is still beauty in the world, giving thanks to God for all He has made. A good day for him is a simple one—time spent with his wife and their pets, and a few quiet moments set aside to write.

He holds a BFA in Creative Writing, and though poetry shapes much of how he thinks and speaks, The Promised Queen is his first novel. Mathew writes in the hope that what moves him might also, in some small way, move others.
